Game News International reports on a press release today that formally announces that Hasbro has tapped Activision to produce an official Transformers Live Action movie video game (see original post). Announced today is that Activision will also produce various video games based on the franchise. While not announcing any specific consoles for the movie video game, Hasbro did announce that "[i]n addition to console, handheld and PC-based games, Hasbro plans to expand the TRANSFORMERS brand's reach through ring tones, mobile gaming and a host of other products for gaming fans of all ages."
