Thanks to SOTA toys who sends us an exclusive first look at the Transformers Chess set. Based on the classic 80's cartoon, the set will have the the Autobots and Decepticons facing off in a struggle for dominance. The Autobots line up includes: Optimus Prime, Rodimus Prime Grimlock, Ultra Magnus, Jazz, and Bumblebee. The Decepticons include: Megatron, Galvatron, Starscream, Soundwave, Shockwave and Kickback. Each piece will be approximately 3.5" tall. Look for images to be released in December.

These robots will face off on a Classic Tranformers Gen1 themed chess board measuring approximately 17" X 17" X 3".

The Autobots side of the board features:
King = Optimus Prime
Queen = Rodimus
Knight = Grimlock
Bishop = Ultra Magnus
Rook = Jazz
Pawn = Bumblebee

The Decepticon side of the board features:
