Takara Tomy has updated their Transformers website with new information on the Transformers Alternity toy series Bumble Bee action figure. Updates on the Transformers Revenge of The Fallen are with new images of upcoming action figures and a new interview ROTF figures designer designer Hirinori Kobayashi.
The guys at Modxtoy have posted scanned images from the December 2009 issue of Japanese toy magazine Hyper Hobby. Featured in this issue is the Amazon exclusive black Leader Optimus Prime figure. Also shown are the EZ Collection toys EZ Collection and Deluxes figures, Transformers Encore Vol.3, Device Label items.
In a follow up to the previously reported rumor that Tomy Takara has cancelled Device Label Blaster, I just got an email from HLJ.com saying that not only was my Blaster pre-order canceled, but also my back-ordered Ravage despite having already been released. I assume (but could be wrong) that the two mice (which I did not have ordered) have been discontinued as well once whatever number they've manufactured has been released. Thanks again to the guys over at ModXToys who have posted scans from the December 2009 edition of the Japanese toy collectors magazine Dengeki Hobby Magazine. There's not much new in this issue, in fact its more of the same with listings and images for the Japan releases of Transformers: Revenge of the fallen Leader Buster Prime, EZ Collection and Deluxes figures, Transformers: Disney Label Donald Duck, Transformers Encore Vol.3, Device Label items. Interestingly enough, the magazine lists that Device Label Blaster has merely been delayed until Spring 2010, not canceled, which was the circulating rumor this week.
According to the pre-order page at retailer Red Mercury (translated), after pushing Device Label Blaster back from September to December 2009, Tomy Takara has straight out canceled the product. It is unknown why this version has been canceled, but if you're going through sadness, just splurge and pick up the Device Label Tigatron and Ravage USB thumb drives.
Thanks to tf-op for the heads on a prototype image that has surfaced on HK-TF for a new Transformers robot action figure that closely resembles the Soundwave cassettes character action figures Rumble and Frenzy. The head and torsos are dead ringers for the cassettes the way they looked in the G1 cartoons.

TF08's iGear has updated their page for the iGear IG-PP01 Mini Masterpiece Optimus Prime figure with news that the figure release have been delayed from November to December. They have also posted some dates for the IG-PP01B Black / Nemesis version and the IG-PP01C clear G1 colors.
We've already posted some images of the Tomy Takara Transformers Device Label Tigatron and Ravage 2GB USB flash drives, but we haven't seen much on the actual software that comes with. However, we have some screen caps to show you today.
Thanks to Snakas who's posted news that the Japanese collectible magazine Figure King Magazine No. 141 reveals the robot behind the mask. As previously reported from Figure King No.140, there is a mystery EZ Collection (legends class) figure coming out in Japan only. The preview showed a silhouette of a constructicon-like team and it should be no big surprise they are the "Desert Attack" Team that will be offered as a Toys R' Japan exclusive.

Just in from Million Publishing is an update on the latest exclusives figures that will be offred as part of the sales campaing for the Transformers Generations 2009 Volume 3. This release will include two distinct repaints of generation 1 Skids mold and offered as the character figures Skids & Screech Quantum Operative Versions. AKA Skids and Mudflap?

Looks like Tomy Takara will be following suit with the Disney Label Donald Duck much as they did with the Mickey Mouse offering a black, gray and white (monochrome) version for Donald too. iGear has updated their web site with new images of an all clear plastic version of the Miniature Master Piece Optimus Prime that was previously announced. The new item based on the same mold, iGear PP01C, is listed at a partner exclusive to be offered through a Chinese Toy Magazine "Art Collection".

Thanks to ModXToy, we have scans of the October issue of Hyper Hobby. The magazine only offers up two pages of Tomy Takara products, but gives us a closer look at Transformers Alternity A-03 Suzuki Swift Sport Cliffjumper head mold. The head mold is unpainted, but you can sort of use the colored versions to get a frame of mind. Other figures included are eHobby's Masterpiece MP-01b Convoy, Disney Label Halloween Mickey Mouse, Device Labels, and a slew of upcoming Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen figures.
Thanks to S250, an interesting piece of news hit the wire recently, in the form of a transforming version of the Chinese webcomic character Yoyocici. The figure's vehicle mode is a super-deformed version of the Transformers movie Optimus Prime and transforms into a robot that sports the same color scheme as Prime, too. Read more.
Jizai Toys has posted images of upcoming Wonder Festival exclusive Nano Scale G1 Wheelie and Springer figures. These figures are about the same class as the Legends toys and are made by Tomy Takara. Despite the size of these little guys, Takara has been able to shove in a triple changer feature for Springer. Pics after the jump!

Previously reported here, the delayed Transformers Music Matrix DVD has been released in Japan. It contains a compilation of Transformers theme songs from G1 to present Movie with clips and footage retailing at 3,000 yen.
In the wake of Steven Spielberg's worldwide Hollywood blockbuster film Transformers, Columbia Music Entertainment of Japan will be releasing a DVD titled Transformers Theme Song DVD Collection. This will be a compilation of theme songs from the various Transformers animated TV series accompanied by video. This DVD will retail at 3,000 Yen and will be released in Japan on March 26, 2008. No cover art or track listing is available at this time.
Monsters and Critics.com reports - Coming to DVD on 26th September 2005 from Metrodome is the single most anticipated Transformers DVD collection ever the four-disc boxed set TRANSFORMERS THE TAKARA COLLECTION VOLUME 1 HEADMASTERS. This exclusive release marks the first time this legendary, much sought after but little seen 35-episode series has ever been officially released in its entirety in the West and features the show's original Japanese language version with newly commissioned remastered English subtitles, new artwork and a special collector's booklet on The Takara Collection. Another production run of the Japanese Transformers 2010 DVD Box set will be available on December 18, 2004 "50 years after the death of Convoy ... A new leader Rodimus Convoy and Galvatron Fight" In addition to all 30 episodes, also included are the three TV episodes "Transformers Rebirth 1-3" & a 40 page booklet.
Many Japanese gaming sights has reported a new version of the Japanese "Transformers" game that was released last year for the Playstation 2 will be re-released on March 24, 2005 titled "Transformers Best Version" also for the PS2 platform retailing at 2,980 Yen. This is equivalent to the reduce priced "Greatest Hits" here in the US.

Million Publishing has updated their Transformers Generations 2009 website to include an image of the two Generation 1 Skids repaint figures in plastic packaging. The exclusive Skids and Screech figures that will be part of their third volume of the magazine will be packaged together. For out of package shots, check out our previous report.
Chenkofs, over at HK-TF have posted a whole bunch of new images for TFC 005 Gear Of War 2 upgrade set. These have been just released in Asia. The new images show off the full box as well as the inserts, instructions and each of the guns paired up with a Prime.
Thanks to famitoy for posting new shots of the Tomy Takara's upcoming Transformers Disney Label Monochrome Donald Duck. The figure has been delayed from a late-January release to March 2010. Interestingly, according to famitoy, the figure will be a full 190 Yen (~ $2 USD) cheaper than the colored Donald Duck at 3800 Yen (~ $42 USD). Take a look at the images in the gallery.

Walker Plus has posted a photoshoot of the upcoming Device Label Tigatron USB and Grimlock Mouse from Tomy Takara. According to the translated version of the article (our Japanese is very limited), when plugging in the Tigatron or Ravage USB, the head of the respective character appears on your desktop. The guys at TF08 have updated their BLOG with new images of the new BIG MP Trailer(IG-TF004) with images of the Generation 1 IG-TF004A Original Color Version and the IG-TF004B Black Color Version Roller accessories. Get a look at them in full color next to MP Convoy for detail and size comparison.
Toy Hobby has updated the product page to the Masterpiece MP-8x King Grimlock with a rear shot of the box, a comparison of the original MP-08 and MP-8x figures, and some scans of the King Grimlock's appearance in the Marvel comic book. A copy of the comic will be included with the figure. King Grimlock will retail for 13,000 Yen (~$137 USD) and will ship in the second half of December.
Japanese retailer Hobby Search has posted the images of the Takara Tomy Disney Label Donald Duck on their product page, which provide us our first look at the painted figure. Just like Mickey Mouse, the robot will resemble Donald Duck and the actual Donald Duck will ride on the head portion of the bot. The figure is slated for a mid-December launch for 3,990 Yen (~ $43 USD).
