IDW Brings Panels, Big Exclusives, Debuts to WonderCon

WonderCon is coming to Los Angeles and IDW Publishing will be there with a bevy of new products, exclusives, debuts and panels galore! Sadly, there are no new Transformers goodies to announce, but IDW's Transformers team of John Barber, Mairghread Scott, Livio Ramondelli will be on hand to host a panel "Transforming and Rolling", on Saturday, 3/24/18, 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., Room: 208. Be One Of The First To Get Your Hands On Sonic The Hedgehog #1!

SAN DIEGO, CA, (March 19th, 2018) – IDW Publishing is returning to one of Southern California’s favorite comic conventions– the one and only WonderCon! Held at the Anaheim Convention Center from March 23rd to March 25th, attendees can stop by and see the IDW crew at booth #1109 all weekend. Kick off your convention season with a show full of creator signings, announcements, panels, giveaways, and so much more!

Join IDW in welcoming the long-anticipated arrival of the blue blur, Sonic The Hedgehog, at the show! Be one of the first to pick up a world premiere convention exclusive copy of Sonic #1 and get it signed by writer Ian Flynn, who will be signing throughout the show! Also available at the booth is a free, limited-edition preview of the highly anticipated League of Extraordinary Gentlemen: Volume 4: The Tempest. Get your first look inside the exciting final installment by Alan Moore and Kevin O’Neill.

In addition to Sonic, IDW will be unveiling brand new convention variant covers to some of the most anticipated titles of the spring.

Also this year, for the first time ever, IDW will be revealing an on-site order system to fulfill all of your comic needs! Can’t find what you’re looking for at the booth? IDW is implementing a new process where you will have the option to order anything from the IDW warehouse then and there, with free domestic shipping straight to your door included. Ask an IDW staff member for more details.

If that's not enough, IDW will be debuting Mystery Packs containing rare variants, signed and sketched merchandise, and more unique items! These packs will be available as a FREE BONUS to all customers who spend over $100 at the IDW booth. These special packs will be given away on a first come, first serve basis while supplies last.

Jack Kirby’s Centennial Artwork Extravaganza, Friday, 3/23/18, 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m., Room: 209
The Jack Kirby Centennial celebration continues with this incredible presentation of the King’s original comic artwork. The standing-room-only panel had to turn away fans at both San Diego and New York — and is now in Anaheim for one final encore! Hosted by IDW President and Publisher Greg Goldstein, this special tribute will feature a multi-media display of more than 1,300 pages of Kirby’s original artwork—the largest showing ever—selected from the eight Jack Kirby Artist’s Edition books IDW has published, as well as additional not-yet-published pages that will be new to fans of the books. Everyone who attends will walk away with a special gift!
