Third Party
TFSource has listed a preorder for KFC's EAVI Metal Dai Stack, a Diaclone Powered Convoy-themed recolor of their Citizen Stack homage to Ultra Magnus. It will come with two faces, presumably one with a faceplate and one without. The figure is due for release in early August, and has an SRP of $159.99. Keep reading for mirrored images and a preorder link!
Age of Extinction
Robot Kingdom has posted a gallery of Hasbro Asia's booth from ACGHK 2014, including looks at the second Hot Toys release of Optimus Prime, this time in Megatron-Corpse-Wearin' Flavor. Also present are some limited edition releases of Age of Extinction toys, Dual Model Kit TF4 Optimus Prime, and the Kids Logic precious metal-plated SD figurines. Keep reading for all the mirrored images!
Generation 1 Japan
Speculation had been that the natural foil to Mega Drive Megatron would be Super FamiConvoy, but sadly it is not to be. TakaraTomy has elected to identify the G1 Autobot leader as Optimus Prime, and that share some initials with Original Playstation. The first render indeed shows Optimus Prime with a PS1 body. In a way it makes sense, as the structure of the PS1 (rectangle with a circle in the middle) is pretty similar to the Mega Drive. Keep reading for the first photo!
Age of Extinction
The Furyu Prize Blog has posted images of a new Lost Age Optimus Prime prize figure that will be released in November 2014. Seeing as it's listed as a "prize" figure, it'll probably be available primarily through Japanese arcades through the UFO Catcher and similar crane-game machines. The figure's listed as 16cm tall, but we don't know if that's head height, or to the top of the sword. Keep reading for the mirrored photos!

Third Party
The Omegalock Facebook group has posted images of the Hot Spot analogue in the TFC Prometheus set, and it looks pretty decent. Omegalock announced that they'd have the figure along with other as-yet unproduced third party prototypes at this year's Auto Assembly, so if you're in the UK for the second weekend of August be sure to go check them out! Keep reading for the pictures!
Age of Extinction
The official Transformers Facebook page has posted a special unboxing video for the G1 Dinobots boxset exclusive to Comic-Con International. While we can't embed it, click through to get a link to the design team walking you through the packaging as well as all the numerous G1 callouts in these elaborate Age of Extinction recolors!
MasterPiece
Two different online retailers have altered their release date for Masterpiece Wheeljack to Late September 2014, indicating that the figure may be delayed. Meanwhile, Amazon has not changed their release date, so its possible that the Hypnochip Disruptor version may be available sooner. We'll keep you posted, but for now you can click through and see the revised listings for yourself.
Generation 1
BaCon's got new pictures of Funko's Transformers Hikari Vinyls! Distinct from the company's POP!Vinyl, Hikary Vinyls are small figurines made of translucent, glittered vinyl to assure that they catch the light well ("hikari" is the Japanese word for "light.") Check out the photos below!
Generations
BaCon got a chance to talk with Jerry Jivoin of Hasbro and talk about their plans and design work for 2015's Combiner Wars theme for Generations. Jivoin talked with fans at SDCC for about fifteen minutes, and talked about not just the combiners, but Windblade, IDW, and lots more. Thanks to Jerry and Hasbro for their time, and you can see the video by clicking on the title!
Prime Beast Hunters

Conventions Center
On display at SDCC are the upcoming statues from Prime 1 Studio. For the very high end among Transformers collectors these statues capture the movie incarnations of Starscream and Optimus is meticulous detail, and can be obtained for a very high end price if your home and collection simply cannot go on without these art pieces counted among them! Check out all the pictures in our gallery.

Following yesterday's release from Hasbro, Nuclear Blast has issued the announcement of their partnership along with ESP and Kirk Hammet in celebration of Transformers turning 30 by giving away two guitars which can then be autographed by Kirk Hammet. There will also be a CD sampler from Nuclear Blast given away while supplies last, all taking place at the Hasbro booth at SDCC this weekend. Keep reading for the full release.
Conventions Center
Our man on the scene, BaCon has brought us a gallery full of photos from the Hasbro display case at their booth in San Diego. On display are the combiners, Age of Extinction exclusives, and more! Additional products may still be added this weekend, but for that we'll have to wait and see. Keep reading to check out the full album!
Generations
In a case of incomplete image processing, it seems a bit of extra data found its way in to the stock image of Generations Menasor. With some adjustments to the levels, you can clearly read a portion of a list of filenames, which reveal Huffer and Blackjack on the list of upcoming Legends class toys. Blackjack is very likely Menasor's chest buddy, based on the Micromaster of the same name. We've enhanced the stock photo, check it out for yourself. Thanks to Jalaguy for originally discovering this!
Robots In Disguise
Finally we have the first look at the "mainline" figures for Robots in Disguise, starting with none other than Bumblebee. Sharing a lot of visual cues with Prime's Vehicon body, Bumblebee is looking pretty sharp, and with any luck may share some of that figure's inventive engineering tricks. This is just one of a full assortment of Deluxe figures that will launch in 2015, but we'll have to keep waiting to see his case-mates. Check out the photos below!
Robots In Disguise
The debut of Robots in Disguise merchandise delighted many with the promise of Cyberverse-scale figures to return! Seen so far are Legion Optimus Prime, and a police truck representing the newly revealed character Strongarm. If you can't get enough of these smaller scale Transformers, it looks like you're going to be in luck next year! Keep reading to see the images.
Robots In Disguise
Hasbro properly debuted the merchandise for next year's "Robots in Disguise" cartoon that will be the sequel to Transformers Prime. With just a small amount to show so far, we're starting with familiar One-Step Changer toys, and a new play pattern called Hyper Change. But more interesting to me is the car that turns in to a dinosaur! Keep reading to check it out yourself!
Generations
Just in are the official stock photos for the Hasbro merchandise revealed today at the SDCC Hasbro Transformers Panel. First up we have the big news of the day and looks at all of the newly revealed Combiner Wars characters making up the first two assortments of 2015. Check out the return of Motormaster, as well as updates to classic forms of the combiner team members. Keep reading to see them all!
