MasterPiece / ShopThanks to Action Robot and Bill Chng for the heads up, rumors are swirling that Takara Tomy has just announced their new Transformers Masterpiece MP-44 Optimus Prime Version 3.0 will be selling for 50,000 JPY (that is about $440 USD) each, and ships in a case of two to be released in August of 2019.
As far as we know this is the retail price, but it may turn out to be a special edition or something more to justify the new high price. Read on to see the images going around, hopefully this is bogus and a cheaper price will be announced soon.
