Bumblebee: The Movie
Via a photo tweeted out by the Licensing Expo's own Twitter account, we have a look at a new promotional logo for the Bumblebee movie, coming out later this year. There's not a whole lot of depth to examine here, simply showing an updated, more stylized font over a movie-style Autobot logo. As expected, this seems to be a headline feature at Paramount's booth at the expo. As for whether there's any more material from the movie on display, we'll just have to wait and see! Click through for the full photo and a crop in on the poster.
While we have been enjoying the spoils of the glorious G1esque Transformers Titans Return that relives all our G1 heroes in a whole new way. One of these characters is getting a full-on makeover to be readied for a whole new generation of fans that are believed to be entranced by the 80s and popular cultures from that era.
It is no secret this unlikely new super-former is, Bumblebee. What has been a secret is how he's going to appeal to the young, the female, and the Transformers clueless where the Bayhem failed to reach.
ABOUT TRANSFORMERS BUMBLEBEE MOVIE PREQUEL: FROM CYBERTRON WITH LOVE - Fan-favorite Autobot Bumblebee is recruited for a top secret mission, and 1960s London won’t know what hit it when this robot in disguise goes undercover.

has been the topic of interest for us at today's CinemaCon showing in Las Vegas, and capping off the promotional effort for the day, a quick teaser was shown to attendees. No public video has emerged yet, but comicbook.com has posted a synopsis from one of their staffers attending the show, which features - as you might expect - Bumblebee, as well as Hailee Stienfeld in her lead role as Charlie. Plus a little bit of a surprise a little farther in. Keep reading to find out what was shown tonight!
Just in from CinemaCon 2018 by way of @ErikDavis, the Managing Editor @Fandango, we have news and images of the advertsing promotions for next Transformers spin-off film, "Bumblebee: The Movie", that is slated to be in theaters this Christmas, Demcember 21st.
Unfortunately, there's nothing new to see in these promos. Paramount is still using the same marketing with the throwback-looking girl and her car campaign. The images from CinemaCon going on 23-26 April 2018 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas show posters and escalator banners that you can see after the jump.
Press of Atlantic City is reporting that comedic actor, Martin Short. Is doing "voiceovers" for the upcoming Transformers theatrical release, "Bumblebee The Movie". In a promotion for Steve Martain and Short's new musical comedy tour that has already happened, back in December 2017. But somehow, this tiny bit of news is just coming to light - If it is for real. These guys are comedians, so we're waiting till the official announcement, to be sure.
Entertainment Weekly talked to John Cena recently, mainly about his interest in coming on board The Fast And The Furious
franchise. However, as you do, the Transformers question came up, and John Cena certainly gave a statement about it. Cena is either very good at doing vague talk comments or isn't very good at it at all, and I really just can't tell. The only somewhat clear remark is about how the character he plays is of a type he hasn't done before, but that he felt confident about. You can find the quoted comment below and a link to the original article.
Coming in fresh off a post on a Baidu forum we have what might be our first look at the Movie Masterpiece for Bumblebee as he'll appear in Transformers: Bumblebee
later this year. A VW Beetle is seen as an uncolored testshot among an assortment of other Movie Masterpiece molds which may represent knockoffs of the genuine MPM toys. Some folks who've examined the photo have noted panel lines on the VW being placed differently than the G1 Bumblebee Masterpiece, making it unlikely to be a misleading grouping of items. No robot photos as yet, but we might be expecting that soon. Keep reading to see the picture!
We probably shouldn't disclose this to you, but British company NDA-Toys
has posted the first images of the Bumblebee: The Movie
Tiny Turbo Changers! Continuing with the numbering of the series established with Transformers: The Last Knight,
this set of figures is labeled as wave 3. Photos of the display, packaging, and alternate modes were on the site, so click through to see them mirrored here!
John Cena was recently interviewed about another movie he's starring in, but the interviewer didn't waste a chance to try to dig some Transformers info out of the actor, who's playing lead in Bumblebee
opposite Hailee Steinfeld. Cena's references to conversing with a tennis ball on a stick basically guarantee he's got some screen time interacting with one robot or another, and apart from that, he mostly just talks about what a good job Travis Knight did making the movie look like a Transformers movie but also look completely different from a Transformers movie. yeah, we're mildly confused too. But you can check out some excerpts and a link to the original article below.
While being interviewed regarding Pacific Rim Uprising
, Steven DeKnight was briefly asked by Uproxx about his time working with the Transformers Movie Writers Room. There's really no new revelations in this, as he mentions working on what he recalled as a dozen movie pitches, but he did make sure to mention how the upcoming Transformers: Bumblebee
was his favorite of what came out of the project. Hopefully that's a genuinely positive sign for the quality of this year's movie, though it's also entirely possible that DeKnight wouldn't even recognize the movie if he saw it today. You can see more on this plus a link to the interview below!
Amazon Canada is providing us with our first details about the third assortment of Tiny Turbo Changers figures, tied in to the upcoming Transformers: Bumblebee
movie line. While there are no images of the figures currently, the description on the page names the entire assortment, leading to what we can suspect is some number of reused molds, but a fair few which sound like they must be all new. Click through to get the full character list!
Its not even in theathers yet, but have Paramount already shipped the new Transformers: Bumblebee: The Movie details off to disc makers in Europe?
