Oops! It seems that Paramount Pictures and DreamWorks, SKG have made a mistake about the release of Transformers 3 by a full year.
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Director Michael Bay has told us he has committed to a July 4, 2012 release date for the sequel to this summer's blockbuster, not the July 1, 2011 release date reported earlier.
"I said I was taking off a year from Transformers. Paramount made a mistake in dating Transformers 3," Mr. Bay writes on his official website forums Shoot For the Edit.
"[T]hey [Paramount and DreamWorks] asked me on the phone," he continues. "I said yes to July 4 - but for 2012 - whoops! Not 2011!!!"
"That would mean I would have to start prep in September. No way. My brain needs a break from fighting robots."
