TV Shows On DVD reports a few new findings on the Beast Machines Complete Series DVD. First, Rhino Entertainment has sent out the sell sheet for the box set, giving an indication that this box set will indeed be coming out fairly soon, which is slated for February 28, 2006 as have been previously reported. Also, many of you may remember the Amazon.com listing for the box set that makes it look like it already shipped on its original release date. However, the product was always out of stock. Don't be confused anymore: Amazon has re-listed the item with a nice beefy 30% discount ($59.95 down to $41.99).

TV Shows On DVD reported earlier on two seperate occassions about extras as well as the aspect ratio. First, participating cast and crew for the bonus content, which includes interviews, includes David Kaye ("Megatron") and Susan Blu ("Transmutate", voice casting and voice direction) along with previously announced extras with writers Marv Wolfman and Bob Skir. Commentary is done by Bob Skir and Steve Melching as previously announced.

Also, when the box set was previously delayed, many believed that Rhino was going to present the show in widescreen, but Rhino has shot down these rumors saying that "[t]here are widescreen masters for every episode, but they are very much unfinished."
