Shout! Factory sent to the Tformers offices a review copy of the Transformers: Prime Season 1 Blu-ray Set, and to our surprise, we found a little promotional video advertising that Transformers Prime The Game would be arriving on Nintendo Wii, DS, and 3DS platforms this Fall! Here's an official look at the teaser tailer for the Transformers Bot Shots online in an all new battle game by Hasbro that will be coming March 2012. This video was shown at Toy Fair 2012, now it has been released for all the enjoy. Watch it after the jump and share your comments on the new series.
The website promoting the upcoming Transformers The Ride at Universal Studios in Hollywood is going live this weekend and users will be able to play games to win various prizes, according to an email sent out. The website, www.PrepareForBattle.com, which has been hosting communiques from General Morshower, will launch this weekend where players can win numerous prizes, including exclusive Transformers art, numbered collectible embroidered badges, and a trip to N.E.S.T. headquarters located in Culver City, CA. Gallery updated with new images Thanks to {Zero} over at the Allspark, who located some of the new Bot Shots toys that he found at his local Asda. According to {Zero}, they only seemed to have the four or five of these figures including Bumblebee, Starscream, Prime, Barricade and Megatron. The game is said to be like paper, scissors, stone. Each robot has a three sided rotating symbol in their chest with fist, blaster and sword where one is chosen and then transformed into vehicle mode. The players then ram them into each other to transform into bot mode. Check out the images and more details after the jump.
Inter-Media and Entertainment Takara Tomy Join Forces to Launch Social Games. In a press released out today, the two companies will work together to release social games, card games and social a world-wide themed title game called "Transformers for GREE." It appears the two companies are producing new games for online fans to interact with their mobile and smart phones including the iPhone and Android platforms as well as streaming content like G1 cartoons coming this and next month. It is official! The Transformers: The Ride 3D will opening May 2012 at Universal Studios Hollywood. Following the opening in Singapore, fans will be looking forwards this opening. Check out the new web site and official teaser trailer for a lengthy preview of the new Ride that will be opening in the USA in early summer 2012. Thanks to the good folks at Activision and High Moon Studios who have sent us an exclusive preview of the Transformers: Fall of Cybertron Art of the Apocalypse Prevew. The preview includes some first looks at fully rendered concept artworks of game scenes, characters such as the the Dinobots and Combaticons as well as new reveals on weapons, vehicles and much more than meets the eye in this game that will be coming out in Fall 2012. The Transformers Fall of Cybertron Cinematic Trailer has received immense response on this website and our Facebook page over the weekend and into this week, and today, Activision has provided another treat with a behind-the-scenes video. In the video embedded in the full article, High Moon Studios' Game Director Matt Tieger and Cinematic Director Dave Cravens talk about their inspirations and the theme they were aiming for in the Cinematic Trailer, which received its World premiere on the Video Game Awards on Spike TV on Saturday night. Neil Huxley, the Creative Director at Digital Domain, the studio providing the effects on the trailer, talks about his inspirations of older science fiction films. Spike TV just had a World Premiere of Transformers Fall of Cybertron trailer! In the trailer, we get a nice view of Grimlock, some Autobots, Decepticons, and Bruticus! The Video Game Awards, which are currently live, promise to premiere at least ten trailers, including Mass Effect 3, Alan Wake: American Nightmare, and more! High Moon Studios, in cooperation with Hasbro, have prepared a timeline that explains the emerging fiction between the Fall of Cybertron and previous events. Drawn from the original generation of stories, not the least of which is the tracing of a history that takes the Transformers from Cybertron to Earth. It was a busy weekend at New York Comic Con where we brought you a teaser trailer that showed off Grimlock from the Transformers Fall of Cybertron, but do not let that stop Game Informer from releasing more content, who is doing a month-long peek into the game. Stern Pinball, Inc., the world's only maker of real pinball games, today announced plans for Transformers Launch Parties as well as their presence at Pinball Expo 2011. In support of the highly anticipated debut of the Transformers pinball machine, Stern will be hosting a series of launch parties across North America beginning the weekend of October 21st. More news just in from Jagex who reveal they will be giving fans a chance to name the factions and characters players get to choose from in the upcoming Transformers Universe MMO game. There will be a variety of pre-assigned names to choose from, but in a twist to proceedings Jagex is also allowing fans the chance to suggest their own recommendation. During our preview night at New York Comic Con 2011, we had the chance to see a trailer of the new Transformers Universe browser-based massively multiplayer online (MMO) game from Jagex and have some screenshots from the trailer. Like the previous two trailers, they are not in-game and are very stylized. The images provided show off the Autobot and Decepticon Brawler class and female Autobot and Decepticons designs.
