God Primus Added to Welcome to Transformers 2010; Tokyo Toy Show Exclusives

By DragonX76 on Wednesday, June 23, 2010

The newest issue of Dengeki Hobby and Hobby Japan Magazine are out, and we have some of the pertinent Transformers toy information reported within these magazines. The images below are from Hobby Japan and the information is from Dengeki Hobby.

First, the magazine reveals that God Primus will be the fifth piece of TakaraTomy's Welcome to Transformers 2010.

Number one is MP-4S Convoy Sleep Mode, two is Sons of Cybertron Animated Clear Convoy and Rodimus, three is Unicron, and four has been rumored to be a Masterpiece Rodimus figure.

God Primus is a repaint of the Galaxy Force figure in "dazzling" silver paint in planet mode. The Toy Hobby Market exclusive will be pre-orderable from 06/24/2010 to 08/1/2010 for 9,450 Yen (~$105 USD) and will ship at the end of October.

Tokyo Toy Show 2010 will feature repaints of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen N.E.S.T. Voyager Mindwipe and Scout Skystalker in Generation 2 colors as Smokescreen and Dreadwing, respectively. The set will cost 5,500 yen (~$62 USD).

Another exclusive will be the Transformers Animated TA-05 Prowl Elite Guard Version for 2,500 yen(~$28 USD).

These figures will be available at the TakaraTomy booth on July 17 and July 18 at the show. Additional figures will be offered on eHobby beginning on July 22.

Chara Hobby 2010 Exclusive

Remember that Sons of Cybertron set with Transformers Classics Optimus Prime and Henkei! Rodimus? Well, it' seems like Chara-Hobby is going to get that this year. This set is not to be confused with the set of the same name in TakaraTomy's Welcome to Transformers 2010 campaign.

The Convoy was not originally available in Japan and will be the first time that Japanese fans can get their little mittens on it on their home turf.

Limited pieces will be sold the Toy Hobby Market Booth for 5,250 Yen (~$58 USD). If the initial batch sells out on August 28, the figures will not be sold on the 29th, but a limited number will again be sold on the 30th.
