Well, it looks like our train of thought on Transformers: Animated
figure sightings in Cincinnati, Ohio were right. Hasbro, Inc. officially announced (
PDF) that the city is indeed a lead market for the line of toys.
The reasoning is to coincide with BotCon 2008 taking place there
later this month.
So for the Cincinnati fans, run, don't walk, to your local Wal-Mart, Toys 'R' Us, and K-Mart stores, as Hasbro has said that the figures are available there if not now, sometime very soon.

That comic fails to take into consideration Sony's manufacturing difficulties. The BD-ROM was a batch to make at first, as well as Cell. it also fails to remember that the PS2 had similar difficulties with its' CPU, and had as many at launch time in the US as the PS3 did worldwide. Really, it would make more sense for Hasbro to sell a thousand or so copies of new toys early and on Ebay through HTS or something. [size="3"][/size]Don't get me wrong, I'm happy they released the Animated series early to some but maybe they could reconsider releasing them to all the states so everyone can enjoy them. Just a thought. |

i am sure they are gonna push up the street date AFTER botcon but the rarity of the toys in Cincy will make them sell like hotcakes and boost hasbro sales |
