Well, it looks like our train of thought on Transformers: Animated figure sightings in Cincinnati, Ohio were right. Hasbro, Inc. officially announced (PDF) that the city is indeed a lead market for the line of toys.
The reasoning is to coincide with BotCon 2008 taking place there later this month.
So for the Cincinnati fans, run, don't walk, to your local Wal-Mart, Toys 'R' Us, and K-Mart stores, as Hasbro has said that the figures are available there if not now, sometime very soon.
