According to a news post on E! Online, Josh Duhmel who played Lieutenant Colonel William Lennox in the first three Transformers movies, has been quoted as saying that he will not be returning to the fourth installment that has just been announced. Transformers 4 was announced to hit theaters with Michael Bay set to return to direct.

In fact, Duhmel goes as far as to say he doesn't think any of the main character actors will return specifically Shia LaBoeuf, Tyrese Gibson or Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, specifically:

"I don't think anybody's doing it," Josh Duhamel told us last night at the launch party for Sony PlayStation's new PS Vita portable entertainment system. "I know Shia [LaBoeuf]'s not doing it. I don't think Tyrese or Rosie [Huntington-Whiteley] or anybody else is doing it."

This could be a sign that Lorenzo Di Bonaventura meant what he said about a whole new angle on TF4 that will be in theaters June 29, 2014. Which, Duhmel comments on the announcement adding:

"Whenever these movies make that much money they're going to make as many as they can," he said. "[But] I haven't heard anything about it. They haven't called me."
