With the Comic-Con International in San Diego just around, the corner, expect to see some announcements beginning to flood the interwebs.

The first of the Transformers-relevant one is that IDW Publishing will be hosting "The Great Transformers/G.I. Joe Crossover" panel where they promise "giveaways and announcements pack this panel with more excitement than Snake Eyes versus Starscream!"

Flint Dille (G.I. Joe, Transformers original cartoons), Robert Atkins (G.I. Joe artist), Mike Costa (G.I. Joe, Transformers writer), and others will discuss comics, video games, cool movie prop memorabilia, and present a look at the road ahead for both franchises.
