Transformers Repaints Invade Target Stores

By News_Staff on Saturday, November 22, 2008 @ 09:12:04 PM

Just in is a sightings report from Target in Colma, CA that will have repaint haters running for the hills. Spotted from the Universe line were Voyger 2-packs: Robuster vs Dirge and Springer vs Ratbat. The Legends Arial Rivals and Special Leaders team packs. The latest round of Robot Heroes ala Beast Wars. The next wave of Legends singles with Jazz and Hound. The 25th G1 Prime was also seen. From Animated we found Stealth Lockdown and Rescue Ratchet packs. If that's not enough, Movie Prime vs Bonecrusher and Megatron vs Jazz battle packs are in stock too. Check out the store pics in the images galley.

I would have went for this MAYBE if they offered Ratbat and Dirge as a set. I already have BC07 Springer, so that takes care of both the Evac and CD HotShot repaint.

Had to ask one of the employees to look up autobot ambush on their checker. They went back and got a box with one of each 2-pack inside. I bought them both. The Springer and Rat bat are pure BTW!!! Springer looks great standing next to my City Commander and classics Hot Rod and Grimlock... read more

Saw these at Target this weekend. Passed on the Roadbuster/Dirge pack, thought I really wanted Dirge but I just can't go for that $29.99 price tag (the fact that I had just spent about $200 on Christmas gifts for the kids may have had something to do with it.)

Only thing I'm interested in right now are those Legends 5 packs. Everything else is just meh whatever.

Saw a bunch at a Target in Livermore this morning. Seeing them in person, I became apathetic. Passed on them.

Saw all of these tonight...honestly, the only one that looked interesting was Springer, IMO. The Prime vs. Bonecrusher set shows you how pathetically out of scale Bonecrusher is to Prime!
