Heinrad
His origins shrouded in mystery, Heinrad is one of only a select few Transformers with a mythical beast mode and the only one that functions as an alarm clock.

Beast Mode
Heinrad is a Tanuki, a Japanese mythical creature similar to a raccoon and a dog. He can be positioned on all fours or standing on his hind legs. Either way, he features ball-socket hips, elbows, and wrists, positional thumbs and universal shoulder joints. He is primarily brown with some black, gray and dark brown highlights. In the center of his chest is a fully functional alarm clock. A triple-a battery powers the clock and it can be set by the dials on his back in robot mode. Heinrad also carries a ledger book and a wine bottle to aid him in his duties.

Transformation
Bring the back down to form the robot legs, separate the lower front sections and bring the hips and legs around. Separate the Tanuki head and bring the upper torso down to form the shoulders. Position the arms to your liking, bring the Tanuki head halves around to the back of the shoulders and you’re done. Combine the ledger and bottle to form his weapon, raise the handle and your Cybertron warrior is now armed.

Robot Mode
Taller than RiD Scourge, yet slightly shorter than Bruticus / Ruination, Heinrad is one tall bot. There is more white, blue and gray showing in robot mode, mostly from his legs. He has a kind face with a neat positional green-lens visor. Heinrad possesses an amazing fifteen points of articulation in robot mode. Pressing the gold trigger on the wine bottle fires the missile (which mine didn’t include). On his back is a small black dial. Turn it to adjust the alarm setting. Pull it out and turn it to adjust the time. To set the alarm, pull up on the robot head. When the alarm goes off, press the head back down to shut the alarm off.

Overall
Heinrad is one of the most innovative Transformers out there. He has a cool beast form, his robot mode looks great and he’s a fully functional alarm clock. What more could you want?
